Description: 
This painting has a unique feature - it can be displayed on any side. The use of different colours in this work - orange and reds on whites and black, and black on a hues of whites bring forth the unwrapping peel. This work uses a technique that was first used in the time of the ancient Roman Empire, now called "Trompe-l'oeil" meaning the painting is no longer flat and the observer can actually believe that he can hold the object within the painting.
 
It is an approach to abstraction through the depiction of reality. Through the study and analysis of the serpentine form created by the peel left on a surface, the artist has played with movement, the object, the lights and shadows and the texture too recreate in the stillness of the peel its beauty and secrets. It is also a study on contrasts.
