Description: 
The unique feature of this painting is the false perspectice and the way in which the sky has been depicted. The cold colors used in this work recreate a peaceful and fresh, summer day . The rapid strokes used to paint the sky give movement and brightness to a declining day. The false perspective and depth are created by the opposition of the two chives in the very front against the horizon's line of the trees in the background.
